The photographic image can be quite amazing - whether printed on fabric, glass, traditional papers, wood, fiber board or metal. Or whether it is projected onto a building or viewed through a computer monitor or television screen.
The image and medium can feed off each other, giving the viewing experience an added depth.
This is what Insight on Metal is about - the added depth in the viewing experience.
You might not notice the difference if you are focused on the words on the computer monitor or on paper, but the image you are seeing here deserves to be viewed on its companion metal surface.
This is one of those exhibits that the cliche "more than meets the eye" actually makes sense.
